200 Kilometers to the North and we are in a new place

Greetings dear blog followers

Those of you who are sticking with me to the end!  And we still have DAYS to go.

Jim and I hit the road this morning, leaving the hunting lodge behind us.  We have landed in Ophir New Zealand - literally a wide spot on the road. It used to be a little mining town (well, actually a pretty big town).  Mining for gold  - hence the name Ophir.  We have one in Alaska too, but it is a ghost town.

This Ophir is almost a ghost town - with a population of 50 according to wikipedia.  We are in a little place called the Bakery Cottages and here are some photos for you

GUESS WHO IS NAPPING!
