Another beautiful day in Paradise!  We had a fantastic day driving to the north end of Cape Breton.  Although we were ever vigilant, the only moose we saw was this one:
We  had to take a break and do laundry in Inverness this morning, which took a bit of doing.  For one thing, the sign was facing the other direction so we got the driving tour of Inverness before finally finding the correct spot....in an old apartment building!  Then Birgit and mom left dad and I to run stuff through the machines, but sadly we had the wrong change.  Dad and I had to stop a random guy on the street and buy quarters.  He was very nice about it, and then asked us for a cigarette.....
Well in the end, the laundry took 2 hours and by the time we got on the road it was noon.  We did make it as far as the Cape Bretons Highlands National Park.  We had a nice picnic and did not collect any rocks at all....
The Cabot trail runs through the park and we drove all way to Plesant Bay only to find the Whale Interperative Centre was still closed for the season.  Well on the plus side we did not  have to pay any entrance fee in the park....
I will send another post with photos....
We have not killed each other yet.  :-)
