Well. Although we had a few challenges this morning we are on the ferry and we have left on time! Amazing
My morning began with Birgit texting from the Seattle airport to say the airline was announcing "operational difficulties" and giving people a chance to rebook. I said not to worry - we had a wind storm last night but all was settled down now. And indeed Alaska air was on time with no problems
This trip had a small potential hiccup when the Alaska Marine Highway announced that it was canceling all stops in Skagway due to a cracked cement support holding up the vehicle ramp. And 16 failing anchor chains. But in true Alaskan spirit the ferry system made an emergency repair and we are back in business.
We are now in Clarence Strait and heading to Wrangell. Here are some photos of our morning:

We also had some Hookers at the ferry terminal. Both Nolan and Logan were there loading a dump truck on the boat for a person in Sitka
