Greetings blog readers!
An exciting day at the Acropolis (which is the Greek temple to Athena, patron goddess of Athens...)
However! I must first discuss the mystery of the armed security guard next door....
We noticed him yesterday, a young man in a non descript uniform and bullet proof vest hanging out on the sidewalk. Since it is bleeding hot and I almost died of heat exhaustion I don't know how he is still standing. He has a chair but he seems to wander the block doing things like picking up garbage and feeding stray cats. Anyway, I could not stand it and had to ask him what he was doing. Turns out this is the back side of the big Bank and he is guarding this side. Now what he can do besides sound the alarm before being overcome in a blaze of glory I do not know.
