More Rollin’…..

 Greetings Gentle Readers-

Here is Karen again - sitting in a parking lot overlooking Black Canyon of the Gunnison with a wifi hot spot for internet!  As it should be - there is little or no cell service in National Parks.

I will say that my SENIOR PASS has sure come in handy for getting us into these parks....

So - since Birgit is doing a pretty good job of keeping you up to date on our daily activities, I thought I would fill you in on life on the road. We have seen amazing things including a lot of teepees

 

Well we have also seen many miles of beautiful country - through the front windshield of Stanley Yelnats:

    

    

And WHO KNEW that Colorado had nothing but steep roads with no guard rails?  We elected NOT to go over the Million Dollar Highway from Silverton and instead drove the road via Telluride - which was beautiful  Sometimes though it feels like this:

 

And then there is the constant Geo-Caching......

    

But we have had some beautiful  weather with a few rain showers lately:
