Well Greetings dear Blog readers,
Here we are at the Cimarron Canyon State Park - our second night of camping and we are getting used to Stanley Yelnats, which is my current name for the van. We did consider Fat Elvis because the van is VERY SLUGGISH - but it is after all a Volkswagon and they are known to be gutless....
All in all - camping is going well - we have learned how to keep food cold in the fridge (dont open the door) how to get in bed - and THANK GOD I do yoga so I can lever myself into the upper bunk.... And cook.
Last night we were too tired to cook - so we just ate cheese and crackers. Tonight will be Elk Backstrap (brought all the way from Alaska) and salad and ravioli! Oh boy! Will post pictures from dinner but here are a few from the past few days of camps:
Karen
