Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'......

Greetings Dear Blog Readers – this is Karen writing you for the first time in days!

This is because we actually have WIFI at our camping site.  No cell service, but there is wifi….go figure.

Since Birgit has been keeping you up to date on the daily happenings of our trip I thought I would take a minute and tell you about our driving.....

  The scenery is STUNNING and we are seeing amazing geology and stopping regularly for Birgit to collect a Geocache...

 

 The Van is called Stanley Yelnats (well the van people call it Stanly - which is mis-spelled and unoriginal) and it does well except as a Volkswagon it goes very SLOW up hill, and as nervous drivers we go slow downhill.  We have to pull over a lot to let faster traffic go by.  This does not daunt us - and a few days ago we drove by Chimney Rock.  Here is the photo I got out the van window while I was driving as we whizzed by

And then she drives up fast behind weird vehicles and makes me take pictures of them!
