More photos of the Salt Production: and comentary by Karen

 Hello Dear Readers,

I thought I would add to Birgit's post.  The salt production was super interesting and while other places now make salt via mechanization this place makes salt by hand.  They produce about 35,000 tons of salt per year (neglected to ask if that was metric tons) .  Each of the ponds will have about 10 cm of salt in them when they start harvesting
