Rocks Number One

 Dear Blog Readers

Today is November 1 and we are in DaNang. We will be heading to Hue soon - we came to DaNang last night due to flooding in Hue but have now been told the flooding has receded. More on that tonight

One of the features of our National Geographic/Gadventures Tour is that we make stops at places where disabled people make hand crafts.  We stopped at had a big embroidery and lacquer painting workshop but they also made marble statuary and these huge polished pieces of chalcedony!   This place is called Hong Ngoc Humanitarian Center

They really tried hard to sell me this table and also the gigantic piece of stone for only 18,000 dollars (something like 470 million vietnamese dong)

Not sure where where I would put that?
These are a bit smaller but still don't fit in my suitcase!
