MOB Dresses and the Tailor

Karen and I have had some fun looking at dresses in store front windows here, in a casual search for a possible mother of the bride dress.  Who knows, one of these might be a winner ?

But Hoi An is known for its tailor shops as well as cooking classes.  Regarding the former, we headed to one in the old town yesterday and wow.  This family owned shop is floor to ceiling fabric bolts, with mannequins in the front, and will do just that.  You can get measured, select the fabric and any dress you can imagine, either from their stack of books, a pen drawing or off the internet.  Many of us did just that, and we had a fitting today, the dresses will be done tomorrow.  For a ridiculously low price.
This shop, too, is in the old town, and the store is currently under a meter of water.  Boggles the mind.
Instead of doing the fittings at the store, they came to us at the hotel.  A fun time!

These images were from late last night, and now the water is up to the 2nd shelf.
